Wishing you...

... a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

And sharing today's card...

I was hoping for a jolly, celebratory card to suit the mood of Christmas Eve, and instead I pulled this

I guess it's a timely reminder for all of us who find company tiring, to make sure we find enough quiet, alone time over the holidays to recharge our batteries, to draw breath...

... to then be in sparkling form again when required :-)

Sending all love and blessings of the Season, and looking forward to seeing all that 2014 reveals xx

I am definitely a hermit. As much as I love my family, I enjoy being alone. I don't always need to be doing something. Sometimes is just need to be.

  4. Hi Claire, what a joy it was for me to read through some of your posts this morning...
I really love the full moon journal pages! And the 'shelfie'
and being a hermit myself, I would say that card draw is perfect for the time...
I love the way you interperated it! ♥ ♥

  7. Do you know the number thing, where you can find your soul card and personality card?
Add your birth year to your birth month to your birth day(e.g. 2000+10+24=2034)
Than add the digits to one another (e.g. 2+0+3+4=9)
The outcome is your personality card.
If the outcome is 21 or lower, this is your soul card, too
If the outcome is more than 21, add the digits again. This is your soul card.

In the same way you can define your year card. You add the current year to your birth month and birth day. that will be the card for the entire year. Note that the year will start on your birthday (that is how it works for me). My birthday is late december, so my year card for 2013 will influence the year from my birthday into 2014.
My card for the last year was, coincidentally - the Hermit!
I don't take this all too seriously, but in my life big events and turning points have always corresponded with the year card of that year. So I am always curious if it works for other people too (it does for a friend of mine, but not for another friend).
